Introduction to Road Cycling is a unique program of exceptional value that caters specifically to beginning and intermediate road cyclists.

This is your personal,customized 1/1 seminar with a coach, that we'll design together so that you get the maximum benefit.

The program is available in a four-to-five hour session that is customized to the athlete and intensely hands-on. With the guidance of an expert coach, the athlete can spend time on their bike indoors on a trainer and outdoors in a skills-focused ride. Included in the price of the session is a pre-session interview and coaching follow-up.

Introduction to Road Cycling: $385.00

In this four-to-five hour coaching session, you can choose from:

• Pre-session interview (required)
  
• Fundamentals instruction
  • Shifting
  • Posture
  • Cadence
  • Braking
  • Bike Fit
• Heart rate monitor demonstration (learn to use your own, or purchase a Suunto from us at 15% off)
  
• Lactate Test (add one hour and $85.00)
  
  • Customized HR and Power Zones
• Bike maintenance instruction
  • Fixing flats
  • Chain drop
  • Cable adjustment
    
• One-to-two hour ride that includes focused on-bike skills instruction and practice
  • Drafting
  • Climbing, including standing technique

• Session summary booklet that includes:
  
  • Your heart rate zones for training (provided with Lactate Test)
    
  • 5 customized indoor training workouts

Intro to CX: Co-ed Cyclocross Clinic

A half-day of training techniques and skills practice - come ready to ride your cyclocross or mountain bike!

Must be 18 years or older to participate and hold a valid ACA license.
