Obtaining Service for Your Ergomo System

Once you are ready to send in your Ergomo part to us, Follow these steps:

  1. Download this Request for Repair form and fill it out.
  2. Contact us by phone or e-mail to obtain a return authorization number (RA#).
  3. Write your RA# to on your box and the Request for Repair form.
  4. Pre-pay for your repair either by our shopping cart, phone or by PayPal. If by Paypal, we will send an invoice to you.
  5. Ship to us via your favorite method. Our shipping address can be found on your Request for Repair form and here.

 

What to expect:

  1. It takes 7-10 days for most repairs once we've received your part.  Some repairs take longer, and if we know that ahead of time, we will notify you when we give you an RA#.
  2. Your repair price includes return shipping via USPS Priority Mail if your address is in the US of A. If you are outside the USA, we usually wait until the repair is ready to ship to you b/4 we decide the best way to return ship to you.
  3. Repairs are guaranteed for 1 year. If you crash your bike, ride it in the rain, open the CPU, or the part has physical damage to it, the guarantee is void.
  4. On rare occasion, we will repair a part, and then another part associated with that will go bad. i.e a lcd screen fails 3 months after we replace the batteries. For such failures, we will work with you to resolve the problem the best we can at a fair price for repair.
  5. Occasionally, a customer will get a part back that seems to not work, or doesn't work as well as you'd like it to. Don't Panic! Go to the troubleshooting page and run through the diagnostics before you contact us.
  6. There is a basic charge for working on your CPU or bb sensor. In over 95% of cases, we can fix your component without further charge.  In the case of a CPU, our first step is to replace your batteries and then if your CPU doesn't work, we do further diagnostics to determine the cause, and you are still charged the base fee of $89.85.  If we cannot determine the cause, you may use a portion of the fee on a replacement CPU from us. For bottom bracket diagnosis and/or pairing with your CPU, the charge is $49.85.  This is not refundable. We do make exceptions to this based on how long our technician has worked on your bb sensor.

 

Returns Policy

Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase date. All items must be returned in new condition.

If an Ergomo bottom bracket sensor has been installed, it will not be accepted for return.

Returns are not accepted without a prior return authorization number.

A 15% Return Item fee will be assessed on Ergomo Systems, CPU's or bottom bracket sensors purchased separately.

Items purchased separately such as chargers, download cables, parts, or mounts are not accepted for returns.

Funds for returned product will be credited within 30 days upon return receipt, minus any shipping charges.


Warranty

The 2-year, manufacturers warranty covers any defects that may arise as the result of the manufacturing process. This does not include normal wear and tear or damage that may result from user negligence or improper installation. Ergomo USA reserves the right to approve or refuse any warranty claims.

 


Repair  Service Policy

Ergomo USA provides installation, set-up, use and software support for Ergomo Pro purchasers whether you purchased your Ergomo within the warranty period or when the Ergomo Pro was first sold in 2006.

We are committed to provide clear steps and complete customer service to have you satisfied with the operation of your Ergomo and ergoRacer software. In order to provide a high level of service to all Ergomo Pro product users, if a user does not participate in the support process by following our direction and taking recommended steps for successful operation, we will notify the customer and support services will be pre-charged at a rate of $80/hour.

In regards to software, we can only support users of ergoRacer 3.0 and higher. As Training Peaks is not currently supporting Ergomo users, we recommend switching to ergoRacer 3.0 or higher.

For bottom bracket diagnosis and/or pairing with your CPU, the charge is $49.85.  This is not refundable.
