Love to ride your mountain bike? Join JDS Sportcoaching, LLC for a two-session mountain biking immersion camp in spectacular Moab, Utah, arguably the Mountain Biking capital of the United States.

Session One |
For the recreational to beginner cross-country racer looking to build their skills and confidence for trail riding.
Session includes an introductory dinner Friday night, three skills sessions and two trail rides.
Skills you will learn include:
- Balance and breaking
- Loading and unloading
- Manuals and wheelies
- Cornering and choosing lines
- Riding switchbacks and small obstacles
- Efficient climbing and descending

Session Two |
This session is for the intermediate to advanced rider who is looking to expand their trail riding capabilities.
Session includes an introductory dinner on Sunday night, three skills sessions and three trail rides.
Skills you will learn include:
- Advanced cornering and braking
- Mastering manuals and wheelies
- Pumping terrain
- Jumping and drops (2-6 feet)
- High speed turns and optional lines

Prerequisites
The JDS Sportcoaching Mountain Bike Skills Camp is for the recreational mountain bike rider with off-road experience, as well as mountain bike racers of all levels - beginner to expert. The camp is designed to help mountain bike enthusiasts take their riding abilities to the next level through the mastery of on-bike skills required for riding all kinds of terrain, experiential confidence building, and reinforcement of foundational knowledge of the sport.
During the two-session training and skills camp, participants will split into small groups organized by physical and technical ability. Each group will work with their own coach.
Physical Prerequisites
- Ability to ride without stopping for 2 hours without serious fatigue
- Ability to ride an extended hill climb of 45 minutes without stopping or serious fatigue
Skill/Technical Prerequisites
- Familiarity with riding a variety of off-road trail terrain
- Basic proficiency with shifting and braking
- Willingness to learn new skills and improve your riding abilities
Come well rested and ready for some serious riding and fun.

Your camp registration fee DOES NOT include the following :
Transportation (for you and your bike) to and from Moab, Utah.
If you fly into town, you can arrange airport pick-up and drop-off for the Moab or Grand Junction airports with the Porcupine Shuttle.

Ship your bike to Poison Spider Bicycle Shop, the Official Mountain Bike Spring Training Camp bike shop, and have your bike assembled, tuned and ready to go when you arrive. Need new gear? Forget something essential or nice to have? Camp participants receive a 15% discount on all clothing, accessories and most bicycle parts (not including bikes or shocks).
Poison Spider Pre/Post Shipping Services Fee Schedule: Storage - $20 flat fee (you assemble) Assembly, Basic Tune and Storage - $35 + parts (shop will contact to confirm before adding/charging parts) Break-down and Pack to Ship - $35 + $12.00 box charge Shipping Costs - $55-75, includes $1000 insurance
On-site Lactate Testing
Train at your greatest efficiency; on-site lactate tests may be pre-scheduled on Day One for an additional fee of $110.

Make your reservations early as Moab is very busy at this time of year; camping is also available in-town or out. JDS Sportcoaching, LLC does not endorse a particular lodging option, but provides the following information as a service only - please make reservations and confirm all details with the establishment directly:
